I think I’m just gonna leave y’all to read and comment. I’ll jump in after I stop chewing off the insides of my cheek in frustration.
We don’t really know what it was like living while black in NO. Perhaps those that lived there know best whether the or the powers that can create somewhere worth living in again.
To me the deal breaker is the wetlands. If you don’t rebuild or let them return to their former state, the effort is a big waste of time and money.
More and more Katrina looks like the canary in a coal mine (I feel a post coming on!).
